On a remote site there is nothing until you bring it: no power, no water, no beds, no kitchen. We have built and run camps in Azraq, Sarhan and Al-Jaffr, and the pattern below is how each of them came together.
Site preparation
Levelling, compaction, drainage and access roads. The unglamorous stage that decides whether the camp still works after the first winter rain.
Accommodation units
Sleeping units sized to the workforce and the length of the programme, insulated and air-conditioned for a Jordanian summer and a desert winter.
Power, water and communications
Generators with redundancy, fuel storage, potable and grey water systems, waste handling, and connectivity so the site is not cut off.
Messes, ablutions and welfare
Dining halls, kitchens, ablution blocks, laundry and recreation space. Crew retention on a long programme comes down to these more than to the pay.
Offices and stores
Site offices, meeting space, medical rooms and secure stores, laid out so the client's own team can work from day one.
Handover or full operation
Take the keys to a finished camp, or leave it with us to run, with catering, housekeeping, maintenance and day-to-day site management included.
